The new London

It's incredible how London has changed so fast in few years.

I spent the whole summer here in 2010 and then I moved here at the beginning of 2013 and in these five years London has improved its immage and it has enriched of some unique extravagant buildings.

I like to think about London as a kingdom of architecture where talented people such as Norman Foster, Richard Rogers, Rafael Vinoly and Renzo Piano and their partners have given their own contribution to project and build new amazing buildings that have modified its landscape. Let's think about the Shard, the Heron Tower, the "Cheesegrater" and the "Walkie-Talkie".

Autumn in London

Hi there! It's so long time I don't write a post here... and finally I'm here again!

I'm still living in the vibrant and amazing London and in January I will celebrate two years here! I'm really happy of my choice to move here and in this time I’ve definitely explored lots of places that I'd like to share with you soon.

I can just say that I love London!

Welcome Spring in Primrose Hill- London

La primavera finalmente è arrivata anche a Londra, anche se le giornate di sole sono sempre abbastanza rare. Recentemente ho scattato alcune foto da Primrose Hill, la collina a Nord di Regent's Park dalla quale è possibile avere una bellissima vista sulla City.

Finally it's spring also in London, even if the sunny days are not so frequent.  I've taken some pictures from the amazing place in London named Primrose Hill, a hill located in the north of Regent's Park, from which you can see the beautiful view of the City.

Meet me at the Cupcake Cafe in London

Last summer i bought the book "Meet me at the Cupcake Cafe" written by Jenny Colgan. I bought it in the airport of Bologna to read it during my summer holiday. I read that book so fast because i loved that story: it tells about a young woman that  opens a new cupcake cafe in London and starts a new life. Well... my story is different, but i've decided to move to London, and i've just arrived here 4 days ago... ad so i couldn't miss to order a cupcake in a delicious cafe near Covent Garden in London at Candy Cakes. My new adventure in London starts just here! Enjoy it!

La scorsa estate ho comprato un libro all'aereoporto di Bologna prima di partire per le vacanze estive a Sithonia. Il libro si intitola "Appuntamento al Cupcake Cafe", ed è stato scritto da Jenny Colgan. Il libro narra di una giovane donna, che dopo aver lasciato il lavoro nel settore finanziario, insegue il suo sogno di aprire una pasticceria in centro a Londra e cominciare una nuova vita. Beh..la mia storia è sicuramente diversa da quella della protagonista del libro, ma poichè era da tanto che volevo tornare a Londra, finalmente mi sono decisa a provare questa nuova avventura, e sono arrivata quattro giorni fa...e non potevo non ordinare un capcake nella deliziosa pasticceria Candy Cakes vicino a Covent Garden a Londra! La mia nuova avventura a Londra inizia proprio da qui! Buon appetito!

Presepe a Napoli: Via San Gregorio Armeno

Finalmente è dicembre, e finalmente arriva il Natale. E anche quest'anno per Natale le vie della città si vestono di luminarie natalizie e ci si immerge nell'atmosfera natalizia. Ma c'è un luogo dove questa magica atmosfera si vive tutto l'anno: a Napoli, in pieno centro storico, in Via San Gregorio Armeno!
Questa via è famosa per le sue botteghe artigianali dove vengono create le statuine del presepe in terracotta che vengono decorate a mano. Si spazia dai classici personaggi biblici ai personaggi del mondo dello spettacolo, attori - immancabile Totò-, politici, calciatori.. e chi più ne ha più ne metta!

Venezia, la perla dell'Adriatico

Venezia è una città meravigliosa, che mi lascia sempre senza fiato! Vi posto alcune foto fatte qualche tempo fa durante una gita in barca. Buon viaggio!
