Green sea in Balos -Crete- Greece-

This is Balos, a fabulous beach to see if you go on holiday in Crete, the largest greek island.To get there, there are two ways: the first one is by sea from the port of Kissamos, the second one is by land, as I have chosen. Driving some kilometers of dirt road by car - what a road! - you arrive to the park car where begins the trail down to the beach of Balos. After Half an hour's walkyou can see the beautiful landscape from the top of the mountain!

Ecco Balos,una spiaggia favolosa da vedere se si va in vacanza a Creta, la più grande isola della Grecia.

Per arrivarci ci sono due modi: o via mare, partendo dal porto di Kissamos oppure via terra, come ho fatto io. Percorrendo alcuni chilometri di strada sterrata - e che strada!- si arriva al parcheggio dal quale parte il sentiero in discesa che porta alla spiaggia di Balos. Mezzora di camminata viene appagata dal bellissimo panorama che poco a poco si scorge!

One of the most particular museums I've ever visited is undoubtedly the tomb of the father of Alexander the Great, Philip II, who was king of Macedonia since 359 BC to 336 BC.It is located in Vergina, Greece.
At first glance, the museum looks like a big green hill - "the large mound"-but as soon as you walk through the entrance, a tunnel leads you into the museum, where you can admire the archaeological wonders that the royal tomb has to offer.
The tomb of the king is considered one of the most important archaeological discoveries of the last century, because it returned intact all the treasure it contained. The tomb is in fact made ​​up of two rooms, hallway and main room, where were found the golden urn, armor, objects in gold, jewelry, vases, weapons, coins and many other small items of furniture .
A museum definitely not to be missed!

Uno dei musei più particolari che abbia mai visitato è senza dubbio la tomba del padre di Alessandro Magno, Filippo Secondo, che fu re di Macedonia dal 359 a.c. al 336 a.c. Si trova a Vergina, in Grecia.
A prima vista il museo appare come una grande collina verde - "il grande tumulo"-, ma appena si varca l'ingresso si passa sotto un tunnel che conduce all'interno del museo, dove si possono ammirare le meraviglie archeologiche che questa tomba offre. 
La tomba del re è considerata una delle più importanti scoperte archeologiche del secolo scorso, perchè ha restituito intatto tutto il tesoro che conteneva. La tomba infatti è costituita da due stanze, anticamera e camera principale, nelle quali, oltre all'urna d'oro, sono state trovati l'armatura, oggettistica in oro, gioielli, vasi, armi, monete e molti altri piccoli oggetti di arredamento.
Un museo sicuramente da non perdere!

Beautiful Sithonia - Greece

Hello to All!
Today I reveal where I've been on vacation .. in Greece! Precisely in Sithonia, Halkidiki.
It's the ideal place for those seeking relax and beautiful beaches with a wonderful sea. But there are also lots of funs!
To get there I took a flight from Italy to the city of Thessaloniki in Greece with  Ryanair and then I rented a car at the airport, and after about 100 km I arrived in Ormos Panagias, a very pretty village with a small port from where the tourist boats depart every morning lining the Mount Athos.

Oggi vi svelo dove sono stata in ferie.. in Grecia! Precisamente a Sithonia, nella Penisola Calcidica.
E' il luogo ideale per chi cerca relax e spiagge meravigliose poco affollate con un bellissimo mare cristallino. Ma non mancano comunque i divertimenti!
Per arrivarci ho preso un volo dall'Italia verso la città di Salonicco in Grecia con la compagnia aerea Ryanair e poi ho noleggiato una macchina in aeroporto, e dopo circa 100 km sono arrivata a Ormos Panagias, un paesino molto carino con un piccolo porto dal quale ogni mattina partono delle imbarcazioni turistiche che costeggiano il Monte Athos.
